EEO
The Equal Employment Opportunity staff monitors Salt Lake County 's employment practices to ensure compliance with Federal and State anti-discrimination and civil rights legislation, as well as internal policies and procedures. The staff also receives, screens and investigates complaints of discrimination. In addition, EEO staff provide technical assistance and support to management and employees regarding EEO issues and procedures for filing complaints and grievances.
The EEO staff also develops, implements and maintains Salt Lake County 's voluntary Affirmative Action Plan. Staff provides training to employees and managers regarding sexual harassment, discrimination and reprisals and other equal employment opportunity issues.
